re: LSU needs an anti-Flynn

As I witnessed the battle between Flynn and Jones on the field tonight I noticed something:
Chad Jones does not even have to return punts. On the first punt, the fear of him made La Tech balk.
What about all the remaining punts you ask?
Well, if Chad Jones were to truly run them back the opposing team would automatically die due to his sheer black beauty.
La Tech knew this. La Tech respected this. Therefore, they survived unscathed except for a slight 58-10 scratch.
With all that said,
Final Score of the LSU game:
Chad Jones = 1
Matt Flynn = 0

you know. i think i've changed my oflynnion on this topic. I realized after last night's game that our starting QB will have more flynnterceptions in his career than Jones could dream of having.

Oh wise one,
Will you grant me an audience for this one question?
As a child, I did childish things. As a man I have come to pursue more manly things, save for one area. Cartoons. Not all cartoons mind you, there is but one for me...
The Flynnstones.
Is it proper that I have brought forth this love from my youth as I celebrate the new and exciting flynnovations that Crowton has brought to the manly sport of LSU football?

Flynnteresting Flynnterogative.
I'm sure the answer will be flynnforming and flynnlightening.
Soon, I shall flynndeavor to flynnvestigate your flynnquery.
Until then, watch out for Matt Flynn in the quad. I heard he is beating the smaller students with an old silver cane he stole off one of his unconscious elderly victims.

He's actually been accused of using a profane word once when he stubbed his toe in class. All reports said that the chair deserved the criticism and that the flynnjury isn't serious, although it has been causing him to limp all season long.

thought this was appropriate again...

Except for the fact that Flynn threw 0 interceptions Friday...yep, that's very fitting.
Posted on 11/24/07 at 3:18 pm to 1336
yep. the last play of the game doesn't count at all.

This thread is fitting:
Why?
I'm glad I asked myself
First, if you watch the replay of the game, you can clearly see Flynn using mind control over Doucet to make Doucet line up improperly so that his perfect pass would be called back.
Second, with Chad Jones on the sideline, there was nothing preventing Flynn from allowing the 4th down and 10 conversion.
Third, Flynn's intentional self inflicted injury to his shoulder allowed him to play poorly in the first half which allowed Arky to run the ball more, even though Arky would run the ball anyway when down by alot (see Auburn Arky Game 2007).
Fourth, Flynn threatened to eat the defensive player's families if they played well, so they allowed approx. 400 yards rushing.
Fifth, Flynn purposefully made his receivers drop key passes.
Sixth, Flynn used his mind control again to make the refs makes bad calls.
Seventh, he is not Jamarcus Russell or Ryan Perrilloux because he is white...and that is bad.

"yep. the last play of the game doesn't count at all."
No INT counted on a failed PAT.

well, i'm glad to know that. maybe we should inform the rest of the country so they will know that we actually won the game because the stat sheet doesn't show the last play being an INT.
We're going all the way, baby. Yeah.

Too late, Flynn apparently already told the country we lost. He was quick to let that cat out of the bag.

yes, it worked. even blowing on his hand the whole game didn't work against us. thank you, Flynn. you have served your team well.

I would like to take this time to congratulate Chad Jones, the Anti-Flynn, for injuring Flynn, making Miles stay, defeating West Virginia and Missouri, and getting us to the national championship.

i believe he was referring to the 5th grade relay at Flynn's middle school. Chad Jones won in a landslide. It was pretty impressive, especially for a first grader. Unfortunately for Jones, Flynn twisted his ankle after he crossed the finish line and everyone blamed his poor play on his injury.
