I love me some D Guise, but I don't know about this.

Sure is great having both of these young men playing for the team we all love.

I think the OL is much better than last year and that's the main reason.

Will this now turn into Chubb part 2? J/K....but it is sick that we even have another back on our roster that we even feel can be "compared" to LF. Because I'm with you, I don't feel its not warranted. He is like the honeybadger version of a running back. Just ferocious out there. Love it

Guice does a lot of his damage after contact. Quick as a cat in his cuts and very hard to bring down. Fun as hell to watch because you never know what to expect when he gets the ball. Just hope he doesn't get hurt - his legs sure seem to fly around a lot.
A valuable weapon to have, and he'd be starting for most teams.

You're getting downvoted but at this time last year people were calling Fournette an average back or a bust.

I haven't checked, but I think Guice has gotten less carries than Fournette did this time last year, so it's tough to make a good comparison. Also, our offensive playcalling and runblocking is better than last year's.

Guice has definitely been a monster with the little carries he's received. He certainly looks like he could go down as an all-time great LSU RB.

I don't think I have ever seen a freshman RB run as fearless as Guice. Would be like putting Juice at RB.

Last year's O line was completely different, not to mention Jenning's qb play left zero doubt about any passing possibilities. This year's offense is totally different and Guice in enjoying the benefits of that.

The way Guice runs scares me a bit. He's a fighter and hard to take down, but watch his legs when they are on him. His legs aren't planted and pushing like a power back. He's kicking and spinning. Every time I see him do this, I cringe thinking he's going to get seriously injured. Obviously, I hope that never happens but fear it will. It reminds me of Bo Jackson refusing to go down and fighting for every inch.

What difference does it make? We are in this year, not last year.

Dude's a different kind of runner than Leonard.

He spins like a top. You can't hardly get him down.

He's Dreidel Guice.

It is much better, but that's not the main reason. Guice was running behind 3 or 4 redshirt and true freshman during the fourth quarter. He got hit in the backfield a couple of times, but broke free to gain yards. He is best this year against a tired defense.

Don't get me wrong because Guice is a really really good running back, but there will not be another LF7 for a really long time in college football. Don't get to worked up if Guice doesn't perform quite as well when LF7 is no longer the frontman.

Guice is playing as well if not a little better than Fournette was at this point in last season. Not at all close to what Fournette has been this season.

Guice has an extreme un-want to be tackled.

Guice is a beast & he runs like a mad man. The only thing that scares me is the way he holds the ball when he is fighting for extra yards, I worry somebody is gonna rip the ball out when he's twisting & fighting. Not that his fighting for extra yards is a bad thing, it
Just looks scary when he's doing it.
