Javy Baez replaces Addison Russell at SS. What a confidence boost for Javy...

Let's talk about the MLB's broadcast strategy...why is this game at 3:37 PM? Shouldn't they be trying to broadcast a deciding game with bitter rivals that have never met in the playoffs before at Wrigley Field in prime time or close to it? The Mets and Dodgers are the only other game tonight. Weird.

Let's go.

It's early all because the Dodgers are on the West Coast I'm sure. But yes it's dumb.

NY and LA are 2 of the largest markets. Their 1st pitch is 5pm on the west coast, 8pm on the east.

Is there still a restriction on the number of night games in Chicago? Do they extend that number for playoff games? I was just curious if this had any factor in doing a day game.

After Baez's fielding performance last night I'd feel alot more comfortable with Castro at SS...neverthless In Joe We Trust

Really hoping Hammel can at least make it thru 5 innings. Bullpen is very well rested as our 2 long relief guys threw a combined 4 pitches last night

But like I said earlier if our offense picks up where we left off last night we are NLCS bound
