Leonard Fournette- All purpose back. Has the speed to outrun DBs and safeties, but also the power to run over anyone he wants. Can also be deadly on kickoff returns. Heisman leader at this point in the season. Everyone knows he's a legit threat every play.

Williams- One cut bulldozer. Has quickness, but not as fast as other backs. Carries defenders on every carry he gets and LOVES using the stiff arm. Spencer Ware type of back. Very good back especially when defenses are tired.

Guice- Power and agility back. Has the speed to outrun defenders, but more likely to break their ankles and juke. Never seems to giveup and has momentum always going forward. Shifty and hard to take down. Big threat as a receiver if called upon. Also VERY good when defenses are reeling and gassed mid 3rd quarter and on.

***Have not seen much of Ducre and Brossette.

MAN, we have a plethora of running backs to use at our disposal. They all bring something different to the table and are go-getters. Had a quick break from classes, so I watched highlights of our games and thought of this thread. All I can say is, we are SO blessed to have these athletes that wanted to attend LSU and contribute. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!

The only thing that I don't like about our running backs is that they all don't get 20 carries. I love watching every back play. All with their own style that is just exciting to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them went to the NFL.

Holy shite that's a ridiculous statement

I think we'll get even more creative with Williams at FB due to the Moore injury. It could lead to some exciting plays.

Absolutely. Against SC, when Williams was in at FB we motioned Fournette. We could also just hand it off to him and he'll carry defensers or fake it to him and toss/also throw to fournette while he's motioning.......... ABUNDANCE of plays that could be called!!!

Not at all the same back, but that reminds me of the way we'd use Hester at FB sometimes. I loved watching the dual threat out of the I. Saw some of that with fournette going in motion. Seemed very versitile and sets up nicely for play action.

Again I ask... Why punt on 4th and short from our 45 forward?

Miles has always had a great stable of Rbs at his disposal.
This year is no different even with a Heisman frontrunner leading the pack.
