Is it ok to take a few notes during an interview?? Mostly just to make sure I remember everything that's said (I have an absolute terrible memory when it comes to verbal conversations)
To be more specific, whenever the company starts talking specifics about salary, hours, benefits, insurance, etc.... Not when they ask questions about myself

Notes are fine
Periscope of the interview is a bad idea

Absolutely it's okay. I'd encourage it.

I'm sure it's not frowned upon, but keep in mind that it is still part of your depiction of your candidacy for the position.

No. It'll make you look dumb, like you can't remember basic important info.

Yes, but don't say it's because you have a terrible memory, say it's because you're thorough.

Well don't mention that. You're not obligated to mention health issues and they can't ask.

I feel this way too.

Most career service professionals encourage candidates to take notes. Basically you ask near the beginning of your conversation if the interviewer minds if you jot some stuff down while y'all are talking. They will be fine with it and happy you asked

Ask first.
They are sure to say 'yes' but I think that asking to take notes shows respect and that you are genuinely serious and interested in the job.
