With the 2nd pick in the 2016 NFL Draft...

No but seriously...
What should our #1 focus be this offseason?
I really think we need a #1 WR to play opposite of Cooks.
I'd also love to get Grayson some reps this season so we can see what he's got.
Defense has a lot of young talent, but I certainly wouldn't mind spending most of our draft on that side. We still need some kind of pass rush.
Would love to get a Guard as well.
So the best options for our first pick look to be:
Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State (6'3" 210lbs)
LaQuan Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss (6'2" 212lbs)
Mike Williams, WR, Clemson (6'4" 210lbs)
Tyler Boyd, WR, Pitt (6'2" 200lbs)
Robert Nkimdiche, DT/DE, Ole Miss (6'4" 296lbs)
Joey Bosa, DE/OLB, Ohio State (6'6" 280lbs)
Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA (6"2" 230lbs [coming off season ending injury -could still be top 10 pick if healthy by combine])
Some people who might be there at the top of the 2nd round:
possibly a WR from above
Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal (6'2" 195lbs)
Josh Doctson, WR, TCU (6'2" 195lbs)
Vadal Alexander, OG, LSU (6'6" 320lbs)
Germain Ifedi, OG, TAMU (6'5" 320lbs)
A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Bama (6'4" 320 lbs)
Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Mich St (6'5" 250lbs)
Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas (6'6" 255lbs)
Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford (6'4" 250lbs)
OJ Howard, TE, Alabama (6'6" 240lbs)
Who are you guys looking at on Saturdays to become the new hopeful members of the black and gold?

the o-line needs to be completely rebuilt. We can't run block, we can't pass block. Imagine how bad it would be with an inexperienced QB back there.

You have to take the elite DL that can play every down at the top of the draft. Bosa or Nkemdiche would be the pick. A starting WR can be had at the top of the 2nd and you can get a starter at OG in the 3rd.

Yeah I said it.

We need a lot. So it's the most talented players that can contribute right away.
But:
OLine (2 Guards, another tackle)
Traditional #1 WR (size, speed combo)
Pass Rush DL
NT
TE
OLB (coverage)

I would go Bosa, then use almost every other pick on OL and WR. Get healthy and some experience and I think our back 7 is fine. A solid RDE to take the pressure off of Jordan and I think our defense would be OK.
Offense needs a lot of work. Two guards, a legit #1 WR, and a TE that can make plays. Can't do that in one offseason.

DL (if we get a top 5 pick) WR then OG.

2nd pick? Don't sell us short we are the worst team in the league.

To early to be rating guys. Between the end of the season and the draft the rating of players gets rearranged so much.
That being said, we need help all over. Take best available DE, DT, WR or OL in the first and repeat every round.

In terms of priority I'd say the offensive line and finding viable pass catchers with actual talent is significantly bigger than spending most of our draft on defense.

Nkimdiche is a monster.
I'd take him.
Gimme Vadal Alexander in the second.
I'm all for using high picks to build the trenches. Right now, out weakness is Oline and D-line. That's a bad combination.

1st pick would be between Bosa and Nkimdiche.
2nd pick you could get a bigger size WR to take Colston's spot.
3rd you get OG.
