Side effects of getting clipped?

Thinking about getting 'fixed'. I'm getting to the age where I really don't want kids but still sexually active so figured better safe than sorry. Men of the OT, what have been your experiences with the aftermath? Is it like dogs where you put on some weight due to lower testosterone and laziness? Did it affect you sexual performance at all?

I got "clipped" back about this time in 2008. So far here's what I've seen as far as side effects go...
1. Spraying guts worry free.
2. Not wasting money on condoms or BC pills for the wife

had it done on a Friday afternoon almost exactly a year ago. Nice and easy, felt like I had a slightly strained abdominal muscle after. Slept it off Friday night, woke up Saturday and put on a pair of compression shorts, cooked and drank all day for the LSU game, don't remember who it was but we won. Worked out Sunday night. Wasn't that big of a deal.

Get it done on a Thursday or Friday....put 'em on ice over the weekend, wear a jock strap, don't do any physical activity and you'll be able to go to work on Monday(assuming you have a job).

I get epididymitis once a year. Hurts like a mofo. Two weeks of antibiotics and clears right up. Still no regrets. Got snipped two years ago
