Not sure if anyone really noticed, but Dillon Gordon was a key aspect in our run game. He is approx 308 pounds (wow!! Used to be around 285) and basically acts like another tackle (his future career is o-line) for LSU. He has been missing gametime due to an achilles injury, but he may be back this week.

With the slight emergence of Colin Jeter in the passing game, do we still see Gordon blocking more often out there? Gordon has to be one of my favorite sleeper talent on this team and I love how fast he gets off the line and attacks the defenders. What are your thoughts on our TEs and what can they provide to the team to make it more complete?

Agreed. He's found some seems and snagged a few out of the air. Athletic for his size. Sometimes he plays beyond the whistle, though. Damn. Now I'm thinking about the penalties.

We'll play Gordon on running plays and jeter or Moreau for passing downs.

Don't tell anyone though, the other teams don't know we do that

He is a great weapon and could excel at run blocking. I like what Jeter has been bringing though. Just happy to have some effective Tight Ends out there to stretch the field.

Well both those guys are seniors and LSU misses them. Jeter and Jefferson have done well in their places, but it would be nice for added depth. If healthy, all four would play significant snaps every game.

I'm laughing bc I'm thinking about penalties on a Monday night. shite.

Anyway, Moreau and Jeter have been solid. We still have DeSesn and Jacory, too.

How in the hell do we pull WRs and TEs like we do? Wow.

I believe Les Miles said he could have played this past game, but probably just wanted to rest him.

if i was coach miles LSU would be winless. Having said that, i'd only put Gordon in on run plays, then put Jeter in for passing plays. then, when situation calls for it (alabama/ole miss/florida/whoever) put gordon in the game and throw a freaking 30 yard pass to him.

ive never played football thought and dont pay close enough attention to that sort of stuff. probably they already play mind games via film - but im oblivious to it
