Charles I know you have a little better understanding and acress of what goes on behind the scenes with the football program than these slapdicks.
Keep us posted.

LSU lost a home game bc of weather for McNeese. Logical thing would be to bring the game TO BR. Just my opinion, but I know logistics and all have to be considered, will be interesting to watch

That does seem like the most logical thing to do and give them the home game in 2016.
But their team has to be able to practice. Not to mention many of the players families are being impacted the flooding.

Said likely BR but wouldnt guarantee
So how does this work if you have season tickets? Do they issue everyone an extra ticket? Or is it a free-for-all on snatching up the tickets?

didn't seem to matter much for LSU in 2005 when the game was moved to Tempe...

Holy crap. Looks like we'd even have trouble getting there.

LSU could practice Butch. The flooding was in New Orleans. The State just didn't have the infrastructure to host a football game.
It takes a lot of law enforcement to host a game the size of any SEC game.
law enforcement and medical staff in Columbia have more pressing concerns right now.
2005 and this is similar. but it isn't the same.
If SC campus is open and the player have access to practice facilities, then it's an obvious decision.

This thing is going to move. Gov Nikki Haley on weather channel now. Still have 100 roads and bridges closed in Columbia, Water issues, 1300 national guard members activated. Setting up water distribution sites.
SEC office cant make a decision to save their arse.
Spurrier and Miles can talk all they want. It boils down to Saban Dispatching his favorite Alumni Official Ritter to site of choice then notifying the Saban Executive Committee (SEC) where the game will be played

I'm sure season ticket holders would have the option to purchase their seats using a print at home or will call option.
After a certain time period, the ticket office would release non-purchased seats to the general public.

It may be a bit of a reach but neutral site (closer to USCe) may be in play. ATT Stadium in Arlington Texas has no games scheduled. But this is more of a stretch since the LSU fans would be the only ones willing to travel there for a game on short notice. I know for damn sure I would be there if they did!! And the Georgia Dome in Atlanta has one game at 2:30 with Georgia State and App State. One idea, if they go neutral site, could be to move that game up to 11am and schedule LSU vs USCe for a night kickoff. This would be shorter distance to travel for USCe fans and be great for Tiger fans and alum in GA.

Atlanta is the best bet since Charlotte has a Nascar event and hotels will be limited. Ga Tech is away, so we could always play there instead of the Dome.
When will a decision be made by? I heave friends flying up for the game Wednesday.

If the game isn't in Williams-Brice, then it needs to happen in Tiger Stadium. LSU can travel to SCar next year to return the favor. LSU will take the advantage this year and be at a disadvantage next year with only 3 SEC home games.
South Carolina is already out of the SEC East race so it's not like their season is going to hinge on this game being played home or away.

In 2001, in the 9/11 aftermath, the UF home game against Tenn was moved to after the last regular season game (i.e from Sept to late Nov). That really sucked.

The obvious contingency is Tiger Stadium. I don't know why everyone keeps suggesting Charlotte and Atlanta. They'll have the game in TS with it being a big fundraiser for the flood victims just like Arizona State did.

This happened to everyone. We played Auburn they same week you guys played Tenn.

That's really short sighted by the league. You would think you would at least plan for the possibility of having to change locations, even if it's not likely.
The SEC should have a bucket of money to help teams move conference games like this.
SEC office: "Need help with logisitics, here is a million $$ from the emergency fund"
Would make these decisions real easy.
