The rest of the series when it starts back up will just be them cruising around on the yacht living the good life and making raids for fuel and food and booze.

I enjoyed FTWD just as much as TWD. It takes time to build up attachments to characters but I think the show is going to be a good show to follow when TWD is off air.

I couldn't concur with this more. They've got another winner on their hands. I'm really liking it. They hit that mix of suspenseful terror brought on by the zombies and the sorrowful horror of the choices they have to make and the things they have to do.

I've liked it pretty well from the beginning. But I've never really needed non stop zombie action every episode on shows like this.
The main problem I've had with earlier episodes is that a lot of the motivation seemed forced. But they seemed to clean that up for the finale.
I'm interested in seeing how the yacht story line plays out. On Talking Dead they hinted that others would have the same idea. So I can see some human on human conflict coming up in the future. (Gov. would have fit right in as a pirate with his eye patch).

Finale was pretty decent, but the episodes before were just okay to me. Maybe now that we have the setup, the next season will move along better.
