I've never cared for the NFL. It's like it's always the same. The bad teams are always bad and the patriots are always good.

Just wondering what an NFL game day atmosphere is like.

I think it comes down to which team you love the most. I have some friends who are die hard who dats. They say they have more fun in New Orleans.

It's Death Valley for me. Always.

If a Trash fest is what you consider best atmosphere then an NFL game is your winner.

I don't find either "better"

But, they are very different.

It is nearly impossible to explain (for me). But, each has its own "personality" and both can be AWESOME

LA Coliseum and Oakland Coliseum for the NFL were the worst experiences for any sporting event in my lifetime.

College games were great at those same venues.

I much prefer NFL football, but college is the better atmosphere to be in.

I've only been to a NFL preseason game and the atmosphere wasn't good. Yes, I know that's not the same as a regular season/playoff game.

Personally I've always had better experiences at Saints games rather than LSU games, but i really prefer the professional version of the sport more.

I just think colleges system is way too flawed. The best teams just feast on all the talent and bad teams get the scraps and can only escape the cellar with a lucky up-and-coming coaching hire that can get more out of less. Just super flawed. It's easy to not let it bother you when you're a fan of a high powered program like we are... I can only imagine the pain that fans of really bad programs feel. Like there's no hope.

Save for a few franchises, that's rarely a consummate thing in the NFL. Parity is at an all-time high.

The passion is higher for CFB. The stadiums and cities are usually nicer for NFL. I prefer CFB but both are fantastic.

Obviously depends on the teams. I put an SEC LSU game above the Saints. I'd put the Saints game above North Carolina. I would put a middle of the road SEC atmosphere (Ole Miss, Arkansas, A+M, South Carolina) above the Carolina Panthers, but not the Saints

I have season tickets to both LSU and the Saints

Overall atmosphere throughout the year is better in the Dome because there aren't any cupcake games like college

However, big game atmosphere is better in tiger Stadiun for that 1 or 2 games a year

the college game day planners have been trying to make the games as much like the nfl as they can. and unfortunately, they're doing it.
