Offense question: If Cam was our head coach...

With the same personnel, would the offense be the same as now under Miles? If not, how would it be different?

Same. I've always said they're joined at the hip imo.

Cam's history says it would be a little different. But with LF in the fold, who can say. Clearly you feed that guy the ball.

i dont know, he would prob have an oc. Maybe they come up with diff game plans. But the offense we have been running, or tried to run up until this season, Is cams offense. This season we are running the ball more than we ever have under Miles. But i think that has more to do with LF than anything.

this is Cams offense. If Cam was head coach maybe he would hire a better OC than our current OC and the offense would be different and most likely better.

LMAO
Boxcar
Seriously, are we going to compare the great Les Miles' resume' to that of Cam's? Cam just needs to concentrate on moving the ball without Leonard.
Does anyone else wonder why we never get a mismatch in coverage even with big Leonard in the back field?
I just watched ULM have a wide open WR against the Gumps and they cant run the ball at all. I cant remember the last time we got a playmaker on a LB. On offense that is, happens occasionally to our defense.

IF , it was ALL Cam , it'd be more like Mett , OBJ , Juice 2013

they both came from the same school even though I Thought Cam would be allowed to pen it up more.
We have become the team that plays to NO LOSE, as oppose to play TO WIN

well its worked out so far this season.
Don Croyell used a vertical pass game to take advantage of rule changes when dbs werent allowed contact down the field. The first route in the qbs progression is the deepest. this is exactly what weve seen under cam.

it's Cam's offense,
but probably severely influenced on the back end with Miles' philosophy to run, protect, and punt

This true as well, see cowboys under norv turner.
here is some other tid bits.
here is some other tid bits.
quote:
"In the offense we won the Super Bowl with in 1999, the foundation was Don Coryell," former Rams coach Dick Vermeil said. "The route philosophies, the vertical passing game ... everything stemmed from the founder, Don Coryell. The genius.
quote:
"The most important thing to me about Don Coryell is him as a person. He actually cared about us as players. A lot of coaches don't even know who you are," said Fouts.[47] Coryell did not want to intimidate his players and instead treated his players with respect, allowing them to showcase their strengths. "I don't think a coach has to be a son of a bitch to be successful. I think you can treat men like men,"
