They have no chance of beating LSU. They are going to get dominated on every level. They've stopped the run pretty well so far, but what LSU brings to the table is not even in the same galaxy as what they've faced so far.

Harris will have a big game if we want him to. Their offense without Dungey probably won't score. With him, they might get some cheap points late.

So that's my opinion on the game this weekend, based off of what I have seen and know about both teams.

As for my comments about them competing with Auburn, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they could. I'm trying to figure out what you liked about what you saw in any of Auburn's games this season?

Their O-line got pushed around for long stretched of the game by Jacksonville State. They looked putrid against LSU. Johnson has shown nothing so far.

Syracuse cannot compete with LSU. They'll lose by 20+ points if LSU plays their worst and Syracuse plays their best (with Dungey). But against Auburn, I think it's a different story. Sorry if you want to get hung up over that.

Just like the game that they brought up.

Like I said, of course it doesn't.

All I'm saying is that the LSU fan's response to his post was much stupider than his actual post.

Yesterday sucked :/ But I still think they'll be okay.

Where did he say anything about Syracuse beating Auburn. One of their posters said that. He said "compete."

If you are going to call someone out, get it correct.

Maybe you should take your own advice.

Any more questions about that one, chief?

The way Auburn has played so far, I don't see anything far-fetched about that.

Auburn went to an offense this weekend that I think is much more conducive to them winning games this season. They protected JJ, and their power run scheme would give most teams fits. It just so happened that we put four hundy rushing on them, and they needed a passing game. Syracuse, on the other hand, I know they couldn't do what LSU did to them, and I don't think Dungey could apply the same kind of pressure that Eli Jenkins did. Eli is a pretty good little player.

It's not though. At worst it's equally stupid.

The funniest part about those posts to me is that they think Harris bad. He just hasn't had to be good yet. Let them stack the box, they'll change their mind quickly.

Jacksonville State is a very good FCS team altogether, yeah.

Dungey is not as good as Jenkings right now. But I think he will be good down the road. A freshman getting this type of experience will be great for him. It's unfortunate for him (and us) that he almost for sure won't play this weekend. Their 3rd-string guy will get eaten alive three-times more than Dungey already would.

Dungey runs it pretty well for a guy that I believe was recruited mainly as a passer, so that helps. I'm assuming Syracuse will play both quarterbacks that came in after Dungey went down some this Saturday, but neither of them are the running threat that Dungey is.

LSU obviously has done well against scrambling QBs in the past, but as an opponent of LSU, I'd still much rather have that element to our offense than not. Those two QBs Syracuse play on Saturday will probably be sitting ducks back there. They probably won't score.

One guys said if he could take a 42-20 loss right now he would do it happily.

Imagine how much it would suck to have to root for your team to not get embarrassed and hope to lose respectfully?

We aren't happy when we win 45-3 sometimes, they would be happy with a 42-20 loss. Kinda sad.

Am I missing something. It looks like this quote was written by an LSU fan. It seems like everyone else thinks an SU fan wrote it.

Yeah, I think that's why some of them were comparing it to the FSU game in 2013. Hopefully their guys play hard and don't get hurt.

They've been in this situation before, at least.

This guy is going to go into a deep depression when Fournette/Guice have 100+ yds on option plays alone

THat was an LSU guy telling them how to attack us, not the other way around.
