I wish him the best as any other guy, but to be perfectly honest, he just hasn't shown anything in his time on the field that stands out.

Then your eyes were not on him during the AU game. I watched him on nearly every play he was lined up for; he held his block for 20+ yards down the field nearly every time, and was clearly in the DB's head as he was hand checking a good bit after whistles were blown. The coaches took note, I can guarantee that.

This isn't anything new, he is a great blocker, the best on the team at his position IMO. He also sealed the edge on Jackson's run. I will also note that Diarse looked pretty solid as a blocker himself, and the few plays they both were split out, they certainly did their jobs.

This attribute alone will keep him involved and on the field, as we are a running team after all. It would be short-sighted to say he may soon get passed up by players we truly haven't seen much out of, because we haven't seen much out of him himself.

If anyone should be scared of losing snaps, its Malachi, as he is not performing well in what he is relatively the best at and that is making grabs.

I think the board has moved on to Jeter.
Quinn will get more and more snaps though.
Just like Les said, kids too good keep off the field.

he will have a great career with the New England Patriots

I am very curious to know what you have seen that makes you believe he is even close to NFL type talent? I really hope the kid does great at LSU but at this point to think he will be on an NFL teams 53 man roster is a bit absurd dont you think???

I think he's fine health wise, well at least fine enough. I always thought he'd be a great slot WR, but it's not like we've utilized many WRs outside of Dural, Dupre, and Diarse. I think he should be in on the screen game and utilize him for quick slants and swing passes as well.

Yes, I know he has dropped some crucial passes in a couple of games last year, but I just can't see him being pushed down the totem pole that far. He's no Ryan Switzer, but he should produce once his number is called.

That's a shame TJ3 got a pass before TQ8. Shows no loyalty from the OC

may be our best blocking WR now.

Which is why he'll be on the field plenty

You should be very proud. He's a great player and teammate. He'll eventually get a chance to catch some balls too

C'Mon man...Thought you knew football better than this?..

Those 3 1st down catches in Gainesville & the leading WR vs Ole Miss had to show you something for a TRUE Freshman ONLY 18 with sub-par Sun Belt caliber QB play...unless you just choose not to see

That is correct.

Too much is placed on stats. Auburn threw for a bunch of yards, but who won the game? There is no question any of our WR's could be putting up big stats in other offenses. They chose to come HERE and we should embrace that instead of insulting them.

As far as the NFL, our guys know how to win one on one battles against the best DB's, they see them in practice every day, they leave here knowing how to run block, they leave here able to run an NFL route tree, they leave here playing the BEST competition in the country from week to week. From what I gather, the NFL seems to think favorably of our WR's. From what I have seen, you do not have to be over 6ft tall to have success in the NFL. My guess is that if you are a team guy, high football IQ, good player, test well in combine events, and can do many things well (play inside/outside WR, special teams in many roles), then you are valued as one guy who can do the job of 2-3 guys on a 53 man roster. In the end, God has a plan for all of us, it is his doing.

Yeah there is a faction here that seem to think TQ8 is going to be passed up in the depth chart with the "real" athletes with dat upside...LMAO!

HOW MUCH did yall's boy DJ Chark play vs Auburn...All you experts that supposedly said he passed him up??

He is perfectly healthy, laying blocks, but when it comes down to it, we just may not need to pass at all this season, therefore we put in the bigger blocking WR's. When his number is called he will be ready. No doubt he has a future in the NFL though, like someone said, he will be great for the Patriots!

Nah...he's talents are just being wasted..TQ8 has already been compared to a more explosive Brandon Stokley by an NFL SCOUT...

Jordy Nelson had to WALK-ON in College....Julian Edelman was a College Dual-threat QB...Eric Decker was a 2-Star...Wes Welker got ONE Major scholarship offer...you dig what i'm saying??

It's that dreaded skin condition that he's plaqued with!
