Absolutely correct.

"An absolute mess" was probably a tad dramatic, granted. I definitely wouldn't say I enjoyed the last 15 minutes, though.

Dude, "we"? You are a fan, you don't contribute to the success of the program one bit (que the TAF comments). Bitching the way most of the Rant did last night and today is the definition of entitled.

We fricking dominated. We squeaked by towards the end, but once we eliminate the small, fixable mistakes, such as the penalties, think how awesome it will be. Think about those huge plays that got called back.

Keep fighting the good fight man. I know you probably feel like you're talking to a brick wall, but it's good to know there are some posters who get it.

The story of our fricking lives for several years now and you find absolutely nothing wrong with this at all given the level of talent Miles brings in? Figures.

seasons like 5-6, 2-9, 5-6 weren't down years or catastrophes, but the norm

Still surprised no one else has pointed out how incorrect this is. Who do you think we are, Baylor? This was the worst stretch in our program's history. Winning seasons were the norm, and we got away from it for only a few years.

You should probably actually watch the movies you reference in your bleacher report audition article. This never happens.

Sure, criticize Miles all you want, but when you sit and dwell on it, it does no good. I sat frustrated at times last night as well, but you don't see me making sure everyone knows it all week

So you'll keep quiet the rest of the week, huh? Hope so.

Sorry if we don't accept ultra unbalanced conservative play calling.

LMAO. Exactly what choice do you or any other fan have? I'll answer it for you. Zero. The coaches call the plays, the players execute to their best, and fans watch and cheer or not.

151 wins, 2nd in power 5, since 2000 or 104 wins, 2nd in power 5, since 05 causes you worry???

Our history of winning since 2000 no matter the HC or the QB is exactly why I don't worry, but each to our own.

Do I want LSU to blow out every team? Absolutely

However, this is unrealistic. People keep going on and on about the "talent". What are you basing this off of? Rivals star ratings? 40 times? There is more to playing college football at this level than just, "oh we signed the guy that 247 said is the greatest in the country, Les is stupid for not using him". Chris Davenport was a 5 star.

When you watch a game on TV, it is obviously focused on the ball the entire time, which takes away from the peripheral action. What if Dupre was getting shut down by their corners and the guys in the press box picked up on that? That may not have happened, but it's just an example of how a million and one things could be factored into play calling that negates all the talent in the world.

It's not like playing Madden, where you can just throw it to a receiver because he is rated higher than the corner.

Sometimes you just have to let the playmakers make plays.....LF did last night but the rest of the supporting cast was largely ignored and that does not bode well for the future.
If we disperse the ball a bit better in the AU game and get more warm bodies involved things will start to look up.
Miles fixates though....thats what he does and that is scary.

So..holding isn't fixable? Is it not a small mistake? It obviously had big consequences last night, but it can still be fixed.
