Must be nice to have a cakewalk all season, rest the starters every game, keep players injury free, and not play a brutal schedule like every SEC team does.

Ah yes, so rested and injury free that we went into our CCG and playoff run with our third string QB.

Playing tougher opponents isn't going to make Miller slower, Jones weaker, Elliott less explosive, and JT less accurate come playoff time.

They have freaks at very important positions and they have a coach who knows how to use them. Besides, we saw how "strong" the SEC was in the bowls last season.

You do realize that the current poll is not chiseled in stone and there fore will look very different by season's end? Also go look at how many ranked teams 2011 Alabama beat. I will guarantee this. If Ohio State repeats, they will beat more ranked teams than 2011 Bama did.

Was our schedule more difficult last year than this year?

Um, it most certainly will.

Ohio State has good talent and a great head coach. However the BigTen is a weak conference no need to argue that point really. Ohio St however has proven its mustard with title wins over Miami and the Bama/Oregon playoff last year. Yeah they got crushed by LSU/Florida in 06/07 but they got over that hump last year.

Their schedule is pretty cupcakeish. Michigan St is good and Va Tech will be Va Tech. Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Michigan are nowhere close to Florida, Miss St, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M. If the Bucks run the table they deserve their spot, 1-Loss opens up a big discussion however if their are undefeateds in the other 4 P5 schools.

You mean that IU team that beat the East champion and then had its starting QB hurt, who also is the best QB for the pros in the B1G and maybe the country?

IU would have been a bowl team last year if Sudfeld doesn't get hurt.

Correction.

Ohio State has fantastic talent and will be at least a match for every team they play this year including the playoffs.
