I suggest not going to grad school while working full time

Dear OT, I recently got hired for a position that gives me flexible hours and time to focus on personal tasks. I decided to enroll in grad school full time under an accelerated program for Public Health. I thought this would be easy and convenient. Right now I'm taking 3 classes and 1 more before the end of the semester. I already want to throw in the towel (so much reading and writing)! Some of it is now starting to eat away at my job responsibilities.
Maybe this is the result of me being out of school for awhile and I'm just not settled in yet but I'm a bit overwhelmed. Oh well. Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm getting my MBA while I work full time.
Sorry you're weak.

I'm thinking about pursuing my MBA in the evenings while working. I'm stressed enough with work alone. I can't imagine my life with school mixed in too

I did grad school while working full time, it wasn't very fun, but was worth it.

Friend of mine went this route, but he did full time for one semester to knock a chunk out so it wouldn't take as long. He said it wasn't too bad after he got that first semester out of his way and dropped to two or so classes a semester.

Sack up pussy. I'm almost finished with law school working full time. Took a full class load over the summer semester. I also have family responsibilities with kids and all. Oh you have too much reading?

i'm old enought to remember both my parents graduating from Grad school while working full time jobs. They were busy and gone a lot on weekends for a few years, but they got their masters and were proud of that. if the degree's worth it to you, tough it out. it's a couple years of your life that can open a lot of doors down the road.
they give me a hard time for not pursuing mine... while i make more today with a bachelors than they did combined with 2 graduate degrees.
that being said both of them worked in jobs that did not require a bachelors degree.

three classes and working full time? That sounds like a good idea.

Put your big girl pants on. Just finished my MBA. Started the month my twins were born (2nd and 3rd kid) while working full time and owning a small business that employs a few daily employees.
Get to work.
Get to work.

It's accelerated so it's one painful year of my life.

I make good money and don't necessarily need my Master's but it's a personal goal
