That's what you don't get. Not a miserable frick. I forgot more Garth than you ever heard. This is one of his shittiest songs ever and has nothing to do with football.

Louisiana Saturday Night has nothing to do with football either. you wanna get rid of that too?
if so, please return your degree and go elsewhere.

No. That's actually a pretty good song and is/was relevant to the culture. Whether it's something you want blasted at a football game is debatable but is better than some generic left a love in Baton Rouge reference.

As an aussie supporter I reckon this is one of the best game traditions you guys have! I can't wait to experience it in person this year. Its a bit like West Virginia "country roads." It has nothing to do with football, but it pumps the crowd and players up. So lighten the frick up and sing along

The Oak Ridge Boys
When Garth played in Houston recently, he claimed it was his favorite song to play and then the Toyota center lit up in purple and gold. I flew my parents in from BR for it, became a great memory

"Callin' Baton Rouge" is the title of a country music song written by Dennis Linde. It was originally recorded by The Oak Ridge Boys on their 1978 album Room Service, and was later covered by New Grass Revival on their 1989 album Friday Night in America, and more famously by Garth Brooks on his 1993 albumIn Pieces. Brooks' rendition, the fifth single from the album, reached a peak of number two on the U.S. country singles charts in 1994.
Derp Derp Derp. Feel free to listen to their shitty version on YouTube

Idk man. Everytime I hear that frantic, hillbilly-esque tomfoolish sounding fiddle, I can't help but cringe a little at the emotional response it may be getting out of our, "recruits".
