Found this on Twitter and wanted the OT's thoughts on whether it's an accurate description of the Boomer generation?
Particularly, the points regarding job searching and inflation of education and housing market and the roles its played in the economic growth of latter generations

All true.
My dad's generation. He makes infinitely more than people with his level of education make, but that was the norm, and there are lots of people out there with the same outcome.

Pretty much true.
I sit at work and watch many many many of them walk around, and I always think "man, when the heck are they gonna retire? So I can slide into their job."

I would say so,
And they are mighty defensive about it if you ever call them out for it.

100% true, specifically the comments about job searches, buying first houses, not needing degrees, etc.
Cue the boomers around here to say the younger generations are complaining.

One reason the job market is so stagnant is the Boomers are working longer and a lot of them can't afford to retire despite what they preach to others about fiscal responsibility
Also, a lot of those positions won't be filled once they do retire

It's why I like seeing the market crash.
They're all like, omg my retirement.
frick you. Just frick you. Go back to work.

frick the boomers. Worst generation ever.
What's pretty amazing is that they're not retiring fast enough because they had such poor financial planning and didn't save up so they're gonna keep working until they die and fricking over the generations behind them. So we're gonna have to wait until they die off.
frick them.

The worst is the current college group that is graduating and expecting to make top dollar with no practical experience. They just want the money, bit haven't done anything to earn it.
My parents both grew up with nothing and worked their asses off to make sure I had it better than they did.

They won't because they can't. There was an article with stats awhile back showing that an alarming number of millenials are already supplementing/helping support boomers.
