According to Accuweather the high for Sept. 19 in Baton Rouge will be 82 with a slight chance of rain. I realize that long range weather forecast or off and the actual temperature could vary by as much a 1/4 to 1/2 a degree either way.

add about 10-15 degrees to that and you'll be closer to the real number.

Come back to us 3 weeks from now when it's closer to game time.

This would be a good thread to bookmark and refer back to after the game when we read about 1483 fans being treated for dehydration before halftime due to temps in the 90's and high humidity.

Any idea what the forecast will be for the Wisconsin game next year?
Posted on 8/26/15 at 9:43 am to NorthTiger
The average high for September 19th is 88 degrees and the average low is 67 degrees. That does not take into account the heat index, which could make it feel 6-12 degrees hotter than the average high temperature for that area, depending on the relative humidity.

All I know is that day games in September in Tiger Stadium suck due to the heat and I have about 25 years worth of experience to back it up.

I read that the skies will rain blood down upon the innocent that day. But the Satanic Almanac is notoriously sketchy.

try 5-10 degrees trending to the higher end

Yes, that is the absolute maximum variance in temperature on a forecast 3 weeks away.

Yep, I go back about 45 years ago in the heat at Tiger Stadium. That's why I live in the Mile High City and I try to go back to games in October or later.

I have been called lots of things but I am highly offended for being called a "moran."
(and as my Meteorologist friend often tells me "any weather forecast more than 48 hours out is guess work.)
