But tearing down those statues will save lives and prevent murders. We should be talking about that non-stop.

The problem is that Mitch is spending his time on the statues when he should spend that time addressing crime, unemployment, and education. Fix those and then worry about the statues.

It's his mismanagement of time and resources that draws the ire.
