I find this absurd... If Fournette has JT or Cardale Jones slinging the ball around keeping the defense honest, he may have an 1800 yd or better type of season... That really still wouldnt happen bc we have a great stable of backs. Anyways i found this so absurd i decided to comment on the ESPN article on it, wouldnt ya know it,all the B1G fans jump on me about how much greater Zeke is... They do not at all keep in mind that while Zeke is a great back, defenses have to remain honest against OSU opening up theyre running game.. These guys use no logic and its very laughable... I dont know how to get the link bc on the address bar is only says espn.com but if any of my fellow Tiger fans would go leave theyre opinions on this matter i certainly would appreciate it and its also nice to make the B1G fans try to argue invalid points lol. Im sure because this is the rant there will be some hate sent my way on this thread, but thats fine, 12 days left fellas! GEAUX TIGERS! LF7 FOR HEISMAN!!

Ezekiel Elliott completely deserves it.

Absurd? Take off the purple and gold glasses. Elliott is very good.

So they're just supposed to gift it to LF7 1st team AA based on his potential?

LF7 hasn't earned that honor yet. Maybe next year.

As of right now, Chubb is better than both of them. Time will tell though. I wouldn't trade LF for anybody.

Ezekiel Elliott
273 carries 1878 yards 6.9ypc 18tds

Leonard Fournette
187 carries 1034 yards 5.5ypc 10tds

Irony

There is no statistical evidence that could be given that says right now LF7 is better than Zeke.

He could be but he has to prove it on the field first.

Now that's a nonsensical rant if I've ever seen one, but I appreciate your enthusiasm.

This no knock on Zeke at all, maybe i could have worded this differently,my point is, LF7 avgd 5.5 ypc against SEC defenses, SEC defenses that stacked the box all season against us.. EE15 did it with not one but 2 elite qbs keeping defenses honest.. If LF7 was in the same offense as Zeke i truely believe his ypc would be higher. You dont??? If not then you should go ahead and trade in ur purple and gold... I understand statistically theres nothing to prove LF7 is better. But the circumstances between qb, and level of competition speaks volumes in my eyes and that is not homerism... I figured i would get hate for it, but i see things how they are. With all that being said, your right that zeke deserves it over LF7, but i will NEVER state that zeke is more talented as i feel that most of you negatigers just said without exactly saying it.... But its okay bc i have a STRONG feeling that LF7 will prove all of those, and all of you "tiger fans" that he is indeed the best back in the nation!!!

LF ran for 18 against Wisky. Zeke ran for 220.

LF ran for 79 against Bama. Zeke ran for 230.

LF averaged 3 yds per carry in those games. Zeke averaged 11.2 yds per carry in those games.

Case closed on last year. But this is this year.

Extrapolating those numbers... Even if Fournette had the same number of carries as Elliot he would still have less yards and TDs.

Just in stats, Buga is much more complete back, Bigger stronger and faster. Dont get me wrong Chubb is a beast, but Buga was the #1 player and a once in 10-20 year player.
