LSU Offense - Best overall POTENTIAL in LSU history?

Ok, I said POTENTIAL, and even capitalized it.
QB - Of course it all hinges on Harris at QB fulfilling his potential at QB. Sure, this assessment is based on potential, as we all know He has lots of it, and needs to show it when it counts.
RB talent - I know it is early for Guice, Brossette and Ducre, but they all have very rare skills. LF7 and Williams are both NFL bound, and it is not at all a stretch to project all 5 of these guys in the NFL
Oline - Probably not the best Oline LSU has assembled, but it is on the short list for sure. It will be nasty, big and skilled.
WR's - Ridiculous NFL level talent abounds. Dupree, Diarse, Dural, and now Chark are poised to put on a show. They are physical also. Add in Quinn, who has been working really hard to make up for his awkward freshman start, and then add in the 3 freshmen of Dillon, Johnson and Jazz add even more ridiculous talent to an already stout receiving corp. I know we have had some stout WR crews, but this one seems at or near the best ever.
TE's - DeSean, Jacory and Gordon add physicality and athleticism to the offense.
We've had a lot of talented offensive units, but based on POTENTIAL, this is arguably the most NFL-bound talent we have ever had.
Harris - do you feel the pressure? Its all on you to unleash the offensive talent. Hope you are as serious as a heart attack in your preparation.

2013 and it's not close

I think this offense easily has the potential to surpass the '06 and '13 teams. Those offenses both choked when it counted in big games during their respective seasons.

I'm talking overall roster. For starters, i agree '13 is hard to go up against.

Don't know about LSU history, but definitely in recent history. We have never had this combination of skill players AND linemen before.

More like 2012 IMO. 1st year QB with potential, stud SO RB, Stud SO WRs, Key Defensive personnel went pro........

Obviously experts think AJ is going to be the QB and he will toss the ball to LF 80% of the time and you know what happens in the other 20%. That is why they say LSU is overrated.

The POTENTIAL is definitely there. However, the talent at the skill positions is still on the young side. I would point to next year as being "the year," but we could be looking at a complete rebuild on the O Line. If Pocic stays for his senior year (no given, but at least guys are starting to hang around on the line) and we get solid play from our two new guys, then the skill positions should just be unbelieveable.
Think about it. This entire running back corps with another year of experience and strength and conditioning. This insane WR Corps. We might lose Dural, but there will be absolutely no shortage of talent to fill his role. And Harris with hopefully a very successful full season of starts under his belt. If the O Line remains solid, next year's offense could own the record books. And yes, I know that's saying a lot.

I think 2007 deserves a shout out, simply because those guys scored a TON of points. Last time I checked, that's the main objective of an offense.
Not the flashiest, but they lit up the scoreboard.

I think this QB has better potential than Mett. Remember that Mett was a lot older, and Mett never was clutch. He blew the Clemson game, and failed to rally us against Georgia in what was an offensive game. We'll see what Harris does. Who knows?
RB - advantage 2015 or maybe a draw.
FB - 2013
TE - 2015
WR - 2013
Line - 2015 by a lot

I think this team's offense does have the potential to be one the best ever.

Not saying you are wrong, but I don't see how anyone could think this as of now

Best Offense with POTENTIAL was the Offense that Jared Lee directed before Les decided to retreat back to the Thug JJ. The win over Oregon to begin that season was a thing of beauty

That's the only way this offense has a chance to put up better numbers than 2006 or 2013

I can understand being excited about the possibility of Harris doing well ... but, I do not understand anyone believing it is a certainty.
If our QB play is like it was last year ... it wouldn't matter if we had Jerry frickin' Rice.
