People shouldn't eat at Sonic if they're not going to tip

Some carhops make under minimum wage. I know several people who have worked there in the past. The carhops said they made about $4 an hour and the rest of their income came from tips. People shouldn't go there if they're not going to treat the carhops right. Stop being a cheap arse and let them keep a little change.

They shouldn't work there if they expect to get paid more than their base pay. It's fast food. I ain't tipping shite for them to walk and hand me my food.

Well now that I know this they will get tipped. Hard to tip them when I pay with debit on the little machine by the sqawk box

If I tip them they will stay in their comfort zone and never strive to get a real job. Being broke will eventually make you want to MAKE more money instead of freeloading off hard working people.

I agree I seldom carry cash on me anymore so it's hard to tip when they have no way to do so with a card

Not my fault they chose to work there. They know how much they are gonna make when they start there.

I don't care enough to research it. I still won't believe it until someone shows me a sonic paystub. There's no reason for them to pay their employees like servers. No one would work there.

If you feel good about this then continue on. I just wouldn't make a habit of going to the same Sonic. They know who their regulars are who don't tip.
