Why ? It's their favorite 10 restaurants and it's subjective .. Didn't realize there was an "official", universal top 10 list ..

I'm enough of an elitist to judge people by their opinion. You should know this by now.

Without a doubt, the freshest food in Baton Rouge. I rank it in my top 5.

I stopped going to Sullivan's after two stellar visits. Once when I had an obviously corked bottle of red wine, the cork totally crumbled when the waiter opened it, I even did the obligatory tasting knowing what I was in for. The waiter pushed back and finally agreed to get me another bottle after a little back and forth.

The second time, my wife's fish dish smelled exactly like chlorox bleach. I do realize if you go to a steak house you should order a steak, but you know how women are. The fish had turned and they were trying to get a little more mileage out of it, I guess.

I do know some really like this place.

Never been there and haven't heard of Nino's until this post...Not a fancy place, right? Do they have to-go? What are the best things on their menu to try?

Love that El Paso and Thai Pepper were mentioned. Those are legit tasty low-cost places.

Before they changed their menu, I would have told you to try there lasagna. Now, I haven't tried enough on the menu to say what are my favorites, but last week I got the ravioli and it was very good.

I know dining attire questions piss Martini off, but I hate having to wear clothes in the summer. Never know about dress codes in BR. I remember my 1st time at LA Lagniappe, I wore khakis with a nice button down shirt and I felt a bit overdressed when I saw the crowd.
