I know he was on the VooDoo but they've recently closed shop

Coaching somewhere? Gambling on the Hollywood Casino boat? Both?

I thought I heard on Tiger Rag radio, that he was mentoring Lowell Narcisse in his recruitment.

Why are you harboring hate for a guy who helped win us a NC?

The same could be said when it comes to Nick Saban on this board as well.

No it can't. Ryan Perrilloux isn't actively preventing us from winning national titles and preventing our success. No one would (or should) hate Saban if he sucked at Bama. Completely different situation.

He also set the program back in a big way at the QB position by being a dumbfrick and getting kicked off the team.

I'll take the struggles in 08 and 09 for the NC in 2007. It was worth it.

Yeah, everyone just loved those 08 and 09 season that could have been entirely different had he not been an idiot.

And if he had not been a dumbfrick we would have STILL had the 2007 NC, and NOT had the struggles of the 2008 and 2009 teams.

I agree with that. But at the end of the day a crystal football trumps the "what could have been."

All Tiger fans should be appreciative of RP.

My Dad said he saw up in Jacksonville earlier in the year. He used to see him a lot in Jeffersons when he was at JSU but he was around the square area with what looked to be a couple family members he guessed. Not sure what was going on.

There were alot of people that helped LSU win that title in 07. There is no guarantee that any LSU 2nd stringer wouldnt have been able to beat Tennessee. Im not here to bash RP but an argument could be made that he hurt the program more than he helped it. The decline began in 08 and guess who filled the void LSU left? We could argue it all day, but our QB struggles began then as well. Can u blame RP for all of this? Nope. but he helped with it just as much as he helped win that title back in 07. Hard to get upset about someone praising or dissin on RP.

But! But! I thought the reason we are in the QB situation we are in today is because of RP!
