I know this will be controversial, but a buddy sent me this earlier today. Im sure most people have done this replacing the spoon with a good duck including myself but this just seems in bad taste.

That's terrible. I've had spoonbill before that was as good as any teal.

I laughed. I would never do it though.

I came here expecting to see a paddlefish...

Wouldn't have it myself but would find it funny as hell in a bar or rental camp somewhere.

Smiling French gets a bad rap.. It's actually a pretty bird... Now a pouldeau I'd understand...

On a side note, Is that a Lacrosse boot...That's a waste of a good boot..

When it's in full plume, it's a pretty bird for sure.

I laughed, but I don't see why anyone would pay money for something like that.

I think its really cool. Name of the camp is The Duck Stomp Inn, so this is more of a gag piece. Pic was posted here a few years ago.

eta: They copied this one, which is what I was talking about.

It's like a bumper sticker with a dirty joke on it: funny for a second but tacky forever afterward.

And if nothing else it gives hunters a bad rap.

That being said, it's a free country so I guess I don't care.

it's not the guys on an outdoor forum getting offended. it's everyone else in the world who just want some ammunition to show the world that hunters are a bad lot. and we hand it to them.

agree completely...I giggled at first, but my immediate second thought was how much bad publicity this provides for anti hunters to throw around....
