A few other basics for the OP (since your dad apparently didn't teach you shite) if on a date with a woman:
- open the car door for her
- if walking next to a street you should be on the street side of the sidewalk
- if walking up stairs, you are behind her
- if going down stairs, you are in front of her

You should always sit to her left also. I see guys at restaurants all the time sitting to their woman's right.
