Cameron's response is perfect. No one, outside of the team, needs insight on the QB position. Coaches are judged on their team's performance, not on how informed they keep the fan base

"Miles takes the blame for pretty much everything"
Miles does not take blame, he avoids discussioning and becomes condescending when questioned. Miles treats LSU fans/supporter like ignorant children andheabove their questioning. Miles has never fessed up to 1/9. If Miles can escape judgement from the 1/9 debacle, he feels bullet proof and need not lower himself to accountability for any of his poor decisions.

..bringing in a 2 star that nobody else wanted isn't exactly what I'd call pursuing a QB in the 2015 class.
He was a composite 3*
And I'm glad you are completely writing off a kid that you have never seen play a down of football.

This is the vibe he's been putting off since about 2009.

quote:Wow. Sucks to be #2 in the nation.
Sigh. You're right. If AJ improves like Jefferson did, he'll only need a world class defense and heisman contender returning punts to lose in an embarrassing manner in the NC game.
BTW:

If AJ improves like Jefferson did, he probably won't have to play a REMATCH in the NC game against a team desperate for redemption because we beat them in their house, and AJ will be playing behind a better offensive line, throwing to better receivers, and handing off to a Heisman contender.

My dad told me 2nd place is the first loser.
Nobody remembers the runner up.
Nobody remembers the runner up.

He was a 2* for most of the year last year and rivals still has him as a 2*. There's a reason his offer list consists of Arkansas State, Stephen F. Austin, and UNLV. Not even UH, Rice, TCU, SMU, or anybody wanted this kid.
I'm not saying he can't be successful or isn't a sleeper prospect (he did win quite a bit in HS). However, let's not pretend this staff is counting on him to be anything more than a 2nd or 3rd string QB his entire LSU career.

Let him have another year like last year and his bullet proofness won't feel so snug.
JMO.
JMO.

If Jennings does get the start, that is on Harris, not Miles are Cameron. Anyone that buys into anything other than the coaches are going to do what's best for the team is delusional.

Point went right over your head. WE have no depth at LB or DL for some reason.
We have the returning worst SEC QB.
IN order for AJ to make it to a title game, we need to magically find a Tyrann MAthieu, 2 1st rd CBs, and a couple of Keke Mingo's on the DLine. Oh, and a Kevin Steele Defense suddenly needs to not look like a Kevin Steele defense.
Let's just say I'm not counting on anything better than 8-5 this year.

Just STAHP, Jordan.

right
We still have Harris and Jennings for at least 2 more years, then we will have Franks

Just because JJ didn't improve, doesn't mean AJ can't.
I don't see much in his game that he's actually capable of doing, most of his shortcomings are things a guy has or doesn't. He's not a very physically gifted guy. AJ is a terrible quarterback and has no business starting for an upper tier SEC school.

How about something along the lines of "I didn't have my kids prepared and I apologize. It'll never happen again. There were some changes and adjustments we missed and we'll re-evaluate and do the best we can next season."
instead we got...."crickets......"
