He's doing the right thing for himself. Kudos to that kid.

Dylan Moses' father, Edwin, was not aware of his son's de-commitment from #LSU. Declined comment until speaking with his son

In other words he wants either attention and didn't want to have a boring commitment (I can understand that somewhat having been 18 myself once.)
OR
Another school has caught his eye.

He's older now so he wants his Buga moment on national television with a little drama. I'm not worried about this kid one bit.

Kid wants to enjoy the process.
LSU has too much going for him not to sign-
Playing for his home state
National Title Contender
Players and coaches like family
Close to home family can go to every home game
Tiger Stadium - the best GameDay atmosphere in the world...

He was actively recruiting for LSU too. Now that he is no longer committed, does he still recruit for us? The other recruits would say, " you aren't even committed yourself. Why would you expect me to commit?"

Those saying this is a good thing or he's all LSU or he's just taking visits need to take the purple and gold glasses off. He's been talking up Bama for awhile now, and I'm honestly surprised the decommit didn't come sooner.
Also, he doesn't need to be uncommitted to take visits.
Gotta watch out for kids that commit that early on. Like he said, he didn't even understand what committing was.

This is the worst type of thread to have on the Rant. We have a recruiting board for a reason.

If a middle schooler doesn't understand what "commitment" means then I would question whether or not he has the mental fortitude to make the grades needed to be accepted.
It's not exactly a complicated concept.

It's called realism. Looking at the world in unbiased eyes. LSU will be fine regardless of whether this kid ends up here or not.
LSU isn't on the level of lower-tier programs where one 5-star makes or breaks the team.

So we can say goodbye to the 2017 season right I mean without him we will suck right, may not be able to beat the cupcake schools.
