The saints snapchat is disappointing.
These guys filming the action can't follow the ball to save their lives.

Larry Holder ?@LarryHolder
Browner said he's got a lot of love for Breaux. Hung out together a couple of years ago at Mardi Gras. Quickly became friends.
Browner had really done well so far as a leader imo
He's constantly encouraging guys
Must be great for delvin to have a mentor that went through the same transition.

nice day 3 summary from Holder, good thread at SR too
It's just the first spark but most of yall prolly long for Anthony to be a real deal impact player as much as I. So far, so good.

Peat is still transitioning. Getting beat by Haralson, who is mainly a run defender, does not bode well

Stephone Anthony strap on the pads for the first time this offseason for Day 3 of training camp at The Greenbrier.
"The best thing about today was that you heard him hitting guys," defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said of Anthony following Saturday's practice session.
Ryan wasn't kidding.
The Saints' rookie middle linebacker excelled during the team's first live 9-on-7 running game drills. Anthony busted through holes consistently, beat blocks and disrupted at least three plays during his reps.

Peat lined up at right tackle and couldn't really handle anyone the Saints defensive staff threw at him. Anthony Spencer torched Peat on a spin move. Peat took the very next rep and struggled with Cam Jordan. Later, Parys Haralson, who's been working primarily with the defensive line as an end this camp, beat Peat during the drill.

Well that's not a good sign.

CSP talking about fullbacks... says one diminutional players "like TE's" can be a problem.
Was that a shout out to JG?

He just had his welcome to the NFL whipping today
He'll be a stud but it'll just take a bit of time
ETA: forgot to mention that Peat is used to kicking out on the left side of the line as opposed to the right. O tackles have a disadvantage in 1 on 1s due to being used to group play.

Johnson and Lorig both make the team?
Hill, Watson, Johnson, Lorig? Payton has used TE/FB hybrids quite often.

I said that a couple of months back. We'll likely keep four between TE/FB and if the third TE doesn't beat out the second FB it will likely be two and two.
And I think Lorig would definitely fit the mold of a hybrid player, with Johnson likely filling the more traditional FB role.

Might just be me but I am not that high on Peat. Hope I am wrong. Dude just looks slow and soft. A project and we can't take projects in the 1st.

I wasnt mad with the pick, but i just feel like there were some other immediate needs for the team.
But Peat has the physical potential to dominate. And he really isnt overly slow.

If he would have dominated from the go you morons would have applauded the pick. Fair weather fans at best...

I'm always of the belief of taking BPA, so if the Saints thought he was that, then good.
Posted on 8/1/15 at 11:40 pm to josh336
Many considered him the best pure LT in the draft, to get him at where we were sitting was pretty good imo.

I take this as a positive.
Larry Holder ?@LarryHolder
Baptiste with a nice PBU on Toon and Griffin. SJB has looked pretty good the first two days. Seriously.
Lyons Yellin WWL-TV ?@LyonsYellin
#Saints DBs have been 1 of most impressive position groups so far. Browner, Lewis are fearsome duo.Stanley-jean Baptiste is so much better.
