over, but barely. 9-3.

I don't bet football, but if I did, I'd bet heavy on the over.

Mississippi State should be down this year even with Prescott coming back. We should be able to beat Florida at home and USCe on the road. That would call for us to go 2-3 against Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas and Texas A&M. The latter 3 of those games being in TS this year.
I also see a split during the last month of the season.

under... I am not very optimistic about this year and it sucks. Probably haven't felt this way since Hallman or the last year with Dinardo.

Is this regular season wins, or are we including a bowl game? If it's regular season, I'd put the over/under at 9.5. This is an above average Miles team, and he doesn't win less than 10 very often.

I will say under. 7 or 8 wins at the most then hopefully CLM will get fired.
This.

I knew this thread would get some really stupid responses. Glad you morons allowed that to come to fruition.

Jennings is returning. How could we lose less??

My TL;DR = LSU gets 10 wins
MAJOR LOSSES
Well, we lost only two significant persons on the team IMO, in Kwon and La'el. I think Hawkins will be a better pass blocker, but weaker run blocker. I've been waiting to see Debo for a while now, but it's anybody's guess how he'll do.
DEFENSE
Mills takes over the vet position in the secondary and we have a playmaker in Adams now. White is still a top 5 cover corner and Paris (if Spring holds true from both years), will be a great cover corner as well. Toliver, Jackson, and Thomas as backups/nickel and dimes, is just crazy to think about. Add in guys like Battle and Jefferson, and we are locked up with a backup run stuffer and possible int getter (Jefferson had 2 in limited reps).
Starting DTs are set and Thomas and Bain are good rotational guys. Bain and Bower should give us goddess run blocking on the outside, and Neal, Clark, and Teuhema will be good/great pass rushers. Also Key should get in as an edge rusher when we switch to some 3-4.
Beckwith (heart and commander of the defense) will be back with Louis, and Debo gets his first starts. The experience is ugly and talent behind them is okay at best. Keep your eye on the development of this unit.
OFFENSE
All WRs are back, our "6th tackle" is back, and our best receiving TE is back. Our starting 1000 yard RB and his backup with 300 yards and 3 TDs is back along with 3 new highly touted additions (one able to help at FB ala Hester). The OL brings back 3 including locking down the tackles with experience. Clapp at center with a 3 way battle at the guard spot not occupied by Pocic. I personally want Brumfield there for his athleticism, but I think it'll likely be Boutte.
We bring back both QBs. Now they were bad last year, but last year is last year. They are now surrounded by experience everywhere to go along with the ridiculous talent, and they are finally experienced themselves in the rugged SEC and their own scheme. If Arkansas's Brandon Allen can go from 49% 1550 yards 6.0 ypa 13 TDs 10 ints as a redshirt sophomore, to 56% 2300 yards 6.7 ypa 20 TDs 5 ints with one good WR and TE, then why can't both of our guys with this ridiculously loaded offense?
I will put right here and now that we will be much better passing the ball. I think Harris will start and we'll be explosive, but if Jennings starts, he'll have around a Brandon Allen year which should be good enough to win 10 regular season games or more.
