Famous last words of the negatiger.

I'm the stupid frick because with 16 starters and more experience at QB, I see LSU AT LEAST winning ONE more game than they won last year. LMAO....while Vegas has them in the top 10 in odds to win the NC........I'm the stupid frick though. Nothing like debating with 20 year old punks who know it all.

What makes you believe that this QB situation will be solved within the 1st month of the season? CLM has almost guaranteed that Jennings will be back on the team. So please, enlighten me?

because we return 16 starters genius, along with QB's that have another year under their belt. Last year early on was a cluster frick just running around trying to figure out where to go/what to do.

I saw another post of yours where you said it is to bad we play State and Auburn early....lmao. Typical you...just post without thinking. Last year they benefitted from playing us early because we had lost so many starters the previous year. This year the roles are reversed for both teams. It's the PERFECT time to play both....yet you can't see that. And you wonder why no one on this site gives you any respect.

I have seen the total at 8 on multiple sites..with even the under getting -130. So before all of you ballers go out there and lay some cash down might want to look around bc 8 is an absolute lock imo with push being worst case.

It's a great bet. LSU has tremendous potential and their floor is around the over/under mark. There are other teams with similar over/under totals and they don't have near the upside of LSU....meaning they will have to play well to reach that mark. LSU can play poorly, and still reach that mark. Don't listen to the fools in this thread. Just simply look at their name and you know their agenda.

That still doesn't answer the question. But that isn't too surprising. I highly doubt that Brandon Harris will waltz into the starting position without sharing snaps w/ Jennings during the 1st month of the season.

I'll stick by my statement. The McNeese St. game will be your typical mail-in win. You won't see anything too special and we probably won't learn too much from the offense/defense that day. Traveling to Starkville with an unsolved QB situation & a new DC hire could be a case where LSU is in for battle.

The following week we have Auburn here and I know that typically Auburn doesn't play well in Baton Rouge. But, I believe this years team [Especially on offense] is better than LSU.

If jennings is the starter, take the under. If Harris get the balls and shines take the over

The under mark is 8 wins, something that Miles has failed to exceed in only his worst 2 seasons as head coach... both of which came at the hands of a 2nd year quarterback and a massive exodus of talent.

But you knew what was in this thread before you started reading...

Seriously, again, how old are you? Your critical reasoning skills are extremely poor kid.

Okay, let's assume you are correct. Your point? Both have another year of experience under their belt, and the team around them will be significantly better with all the returning starters, and especially the young playmakers who were mostly freshmen last year. Even if LSU gets the same exact qb play they go last year, the team will be much better around them. That team, with poor qb play and lots of TF playing, won 8 games during the regular season and literally gave the game away to Bama and ND...otherwise they win 10 games with poor qb play and a team full of freshmen. You ain't bright boy.

This is the real comical one. State returns 7 starters, SEVEN, and they have a new DC, AND they open with Southern Miss (they finally won a game I believe after losing about 20 in a row). Yet you are saying it's bad news for LSU to have to play them with 16 returning starters, because they play Mcn ST the first game.....very solid critical reasoning skills......lmao.

Also....you talk about how great Auburn's offense will be....again, LMAO. They return 4 starters.....including a new QB....and they also have a new DC.......some people just troll on here....but you.....you aren't trolling. This is the real you. Good god.

That's simply not true. It's hilarious that you keep this CONSTANT banter that LSU is going to fail because you can't do well until you have a third year QB. In 2008....J Lee hadn't played a single snap going into the year....JJ was a TF. There is a HUGE difference here...but you won't allow yourself to see it.

In 2014 LSU had a 2nd year QB that had played one game......and a ton of true fresh playing around him. This year, all those guys will be experienced, and with 16 starters there wasn't an exodus of talent. The table is set.....You are going to be wrong about this season.

Please explain how the circumstances surrounding 2008-09 are any different than those surrounding 2014-15, and I'll listen.

I believe you're under the impression that I'm comparing 2008 to 2015 rather than to 2014. To that end, I'm predicting a 7-1 conference record this coming year.

well in 2008 LSU didn't have a qb who had taken a snap in a game. In 2014...they did. There's that.

Otherwise, I agree, this year will be minimum 10-2 and I'd actually be a little disappointed with that. This team would go at least 9-3 with the same exact QB play we had last year...because the team around them is a lot better/experienced. With just slightly better QB play, we win 10....with decent QB play.....the sky is the limit.

People are way overestimating Miss State, Ole Miss, Auburn, and even Alabama. State returns SEVEN starters......they don't just reload there. Those guys last year were mostly 5th year players. Ole Miss has NO offense, and new QB, and the defense is quick, but light. Power teams will have their way with them again......LSU would/should have won by 20 points if not for the four turnovers. Arkansas handled them easily. Alabama had a terrible second half game plan and gave that one away.....and I think TCU and Auburn just scored again. Auburn has only 4 returning starters on offense, and the D hasn't been great, and won't be even with Muschamp....and Alabama finally will get to see what LSU has been dealing with the last few years in terms of number of starters lost....and again, a new QB.

If the total is 8 the over wont be close to even. Somewhere between -130 and -150. There is much better value on the even money O 8.5 proposition as a bettor.

I don't place much importance on one drive against Arkansas and a bowl game which involved watching Jeremy Hill run away from people, but to each his own.

As far as comparisons go, that 2009 team could have made some noise if the running game had a pulse... don't foresee that being a problem this year.

And if we don't win 9 games? we have tons of talent and return all these starters..will you blame the coaches and want CLM to get fired?

I'm seeing 8-4. The bowl game will determine whether we win 8 or 9.

Hope I'm wrong.
