He committed a crime, but the other guy shouldn't of followed him, he reaped what he sowed.

Every time someone is mad at you, you don't get to murder them. Especially if they back off when they see how real you're intending to keep it.

The road rage started when Gonzalez started tailing Doyle
That's not what the evidence says.
quote:
e. Don't forget who was trying to get away and who was trying to chase the other one down
After Doyle initially started the incident according to evidence.
quote:
Gonzales was the aggressor up until the point when he got shot
Not according to the evidence.
quote:
Why do police pull everyone out of the car after an incident like this? Safety
What does this have to do with anything?
quote:
Why is Doyle not allowed to make sure he's safe?
Pretty sure he was safe with his gun after gunning down a guy in front of his wife and children.
quote:
I don't think he should've held the family there, but cops pull people out so why can't he?
I would ordinarily say something along the lines of you can't possibly be this stupid, but I know you are.
quote:
Everyone who knows me would agree that I'd do anything for my friends and family
Yea, like be a generally trashy macho man douche that breaks laws as he sees fit.

Well, unfortunately, being stupid isn't a crime.

correct but following someone to their home is a threat, and I think most here would arm themselves if followed home, now actually shooting a guy? No.
You only shoot a threat.

I get what you're saying but you better have a really good story to tell to the judge. This dude's story will start with him telling the 911 operator that he was going to shoot the guy.

I know, I was hoping you didn't see it. My apologies.

He was in a Kia, the other guy was in a truck with a trailer. I would have lost that truck in a few turns.
Hell, he's an idiot for letting that guy follow him home.

That's tough shite homie.
If you wanna press the issue enough to follow someone, better be ready to back it up.
Lots of you guys let that Bulldog mouth overload your Hummingbird arse.

They both suck pretty bad. The guy who shot sucks worse. If someone followed me back to my house I can see being significantly scared enough to pull a gun. That doesn't mean that you shoot a guy who (I think) was backing away in front of his family though.
I don't really understand what happened on the road to create the situation. It probably would have been better to do what most of the rest of us do. Mutter "fricking a-hole" under your breath and go about your business.

That's fantastic, shithead, but is it worth going to jail for the rest of your life over?

I think he shot him in the chest and then the guy backed away. The "victim" obviously couldn't control his anger b/c he had plenty of time to quit pursuing...I doubt the gun being pulled finally snapped him back to reality.
