It is from the book "The Millionaire Next Door" while Ford was listed as the number one brand, the F150 was listed as owned by 3 out of 10 millionaires.

And I'm sure all 3 of them are driving xl's or xlt's. 
Myself, I'm brand loyal with some purchases.
Clothing- Nike and Polo
Boots- Justin
Vehicles- Jeep or Ford
Coolers- YETI
Power tools DeWalt
There are more expensive and cheaper options (maybe even better) in all those categories but none of those have ever let me down so I stay with them.
Salt on the wound: (a few getting ready to go)
