Why does Everton give up so many last minute goals? I knew they weren't going to hold that lead. It's so frustrating.

they probably should have gotten away with it today
when the defensive players are all fit it is a strong unit. trouble is someone is always out. baines, then jags, then coleman and now oviedo. still have a tendency to concede too many poor goals.

Finally done fuming about the match yesterday. frick Diego, and frick Chelsea, but mostly, frick Mike Jones (who?).
That ending to the match was the peak of my sports frustration I have ever experienced in my 26 year lifetime.
Jk, I'm not done fuming.

I wish I was still at that point. I've come to expect us to drop points at the end of games now. Honestly, I was excited when Funes Mori scored and for the next 6 minutes, but when it hit the 96+ minute mark I just knew that Chelsea was going to score.
I'm more disappointed that this year I've never seen Everton with the lead take the ball and be able to keep possession. We can do it for the first 80 of most games but never at the end when winning. In this game, I think Deulofeu had the ball and was pressing towards goal. He lost the ball and we had two players in front of him. Keeping possession should be the first priority in that situation.

Liverpool Echo and other sites/papers are saying Naismith is in Norwich for his medical and the fee is around £8m. Also have been reading that Sam Byram's fee is around £4m, he has passed his medical and we have agreed to terms with him.
As a fan, I will miss Naismith for what he has done on and off the field, but these two moves are really good and make perfect sense in football terms. A player still wanting to play for his national team needs consistent playing time and he is not going to get that at Everton. Not to mention he is 29 y/o and we got him on a free in 2012.
Do you guys think Byram gets plugged into RB immediately with Coleman out?

West ham are making a late push for Byram but he wants to go to Everton.
Will def miss Naisy. Great business by Moyesy to get him on a free. 8mil seems kind of high for a club in relegation danger, but i ain't complaining. Goid move for his Scotland career.
Byram should play while seamus is out. Unless we want to play Stones there again

update, looks like Byram is heading to west ham now
they've matched our offer and are offering straight cash.
wouldn't write it off just yet, cellino is world famous for his haggling, plus sullivan is the kind of person that drives him crazy.

Cellino says he "can't control where the player wants to go". Basically implying he would rather have taken Everton's offer. #lufc

Everton have dropped 12 points from a winning position in games this season, which is more than the difference between their current position in the table and the top four.

Well this has turned into a typical Everton transfer saga

It sucks but he will get more playing time at West Ham than here. Frustrating nonetheless.

Carlisle wins the replay, Everton @ Carlisle on 1/31. Supposedly Carlisle hasn't been able to play at home though because of flooding? Might have to be played elsewhere

this season could have been another 2004/2005, instead they keep shooting themselves in the foot

At least we'll get a crap ton of money for them

the last line makes me think of ben simmons
