Quinn will stay 4 years and be a starter his senior year.
I could see that.
if he doesn't transfer by then.

That's what I think too. But I could see how an injury, or some major slip up off the field (of one of the guys above him), could open up a new opportunity for him. And I'm guessing that's what the coaches are telling him to keep him motivated.
But strictly judging from the Spring game, he seemed to be completely out of the WR loop.

Not only is he lost in the talent, but he doesn't have a chance to have more than 3-4 balls thrown to him per game for the foreseen future. Like or not, that's the reality.

I think there is like a group of guys that admin has in their network where they tell the dumb bastards to go on the rant and post the most ignorant shite you can imagine in order to keep interest up. Dukkee V is the team leader, for sure, of that group of people.
How can you possibly disagree with this? Whether Jennings or Harris, the offense is going to be exactly like last year - as much due to excessive talent to run the ball as the lack of ability to pass. There may be two games in which he'll have 5 balls thrown to him.

you also heard more about Valentine than Quentin Thomas, and Valentine never played a down for LSU.
Quinn was second on the team in catches last year, and broke several Louisiana records. He dropped a few passes, okay. OBJ, as noted in another thread, dropped a few passes as well. Quinn will play and will probably become LSU's most reliable rec on the team....the go to guy when they need a big catch.
Not many on the Rant deal with logic and facts Tigerinthehollow, they have their own agendas, and when a certain player's name is in a thread the hate comes out for whatever reason. My hunch is that they never did much themselves and it makes them feel better about themselves to hide behind screen names and take shots at others who dare to step into the arena.

Honestly, I'm more worried about him getting snapped in half
You must be terrify about the other receivers. Only one receiver on the dept chart has more weight on his bones and that one is much taller.

Hasn't Quinn been working returning punts?
I think he'll get in the mix this year. I expect Dural and Dupre to each have 700-1,000 yard seasons, and Quinn, Diarse, Johnson and Chark to all play about the same amount of snaps. Each of the final four should have 10-20 opportunities to make plays the way I anticipate it will go down. Now if one of those four separates himself, that is definitely subject to change.

Has Trey mentioned anything about his own expectations for this year? What is he saying he realistically expects to do this year?

I have no idea GeauxToBed, I do not have the contacts and information that so many others seem to have on this board. My agenda is to support ALL those who wear the Purple and Gold. I AM a big fan of #8 mainly because he handles his business with class and dignity, doesn't take to social media and throw teammates under the bus, is a team guy who quietly goes about trying to do what is asked of him to give us a better chance to win, sacrifices his body to try and make plays for his quarterback (see Auburn game), and fights through adversity with the best of them.
Another poster said it, most of these guys could have gone to more "pass happy" offenses, but chose to stay here, mainly because of state pride and their people that they represent. They understand that the supporters FAR outnumber the haters. Hopefully we get the passing game cranked up and show the college football world just how good we can be!

Sorry, thought I had read something on the RB that would indicate otherwise... Must have you confused with another poster.
Eta: I agree with everything you said, and have high hopes for Trey and all our Tigers this year and into the future.

He looked pretty good against MSU.

I agree with TNTigerman that there will be few passes again this year unless Harris has developed a memory for the playbook and said passes divided 5 ways doesn't allow for many to Quinn.....
The good SEC defenses will again put 7-8 men near the line and dare us to throw deep which may result in a few long runs like against ND but that failure to go deep successfully unfortunately won't put enough yards or points on the board to win the SEC....The KEY is HARRIS !!!
