I spend a decent amount of time in the car to and from work, so I've enjoyed getting into podcasts to pass the time. Any suggestions on podcasts to look into and why? Below are the ones that I have listened to already:
Serial
This American Life
Start Up
The Mystery Show (probably my least favorite)
Fantasy Focus
Hardcore History (the series on WWI was insane)
Welcome to Night Vale (I really couldn't get past the first episode, just wasn't my thing)

I've been listening to the History of WWII. I'm like 50 episodes in and the war hasn't even started yet. I think I looked the other day, and there are like 130 episodes and they are only in 1941.
ETA: I also regularly listen to Congressional Dish, This American Life, Car Talk, and Stuff You MIssed in History Class

WTF by Marc Maron. Interesting conversations with comedians/actors/musicians.

Have you listened to All of the Hardcore History podcasts or just Blueprint for Armageddon?

I really like it so far.
Try:
If you liked Serial, then Undisclosed is a MUST listen. Seriously, start listening to it right now. They tear the state's case to shreds
Sinica - weekly show about China from a Chinese-American guy that has moved back to China.
Longform - interviews with journalists who right "longform" articles for major publications
You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes - good long form interviews (usually of comedians) that delves into actual topics of interest like god/religion, sex, health, etc.
Guys We fricked - very straightforward podcast by two chicks who talk about their sex lives. The Jim Norton episode was good.
The Champs (with Neal Brennan and Moshe Kasher) - 2 white comedians interview only black guests
Love and Radio
Criminal
Radiolab - another must listen
The Memory Palace

BBC - Desert Island Discs -- A celebrity is interviewed and plays their favorite records. A lot more interesting and entertaining than it sounds. On the air since 1942 -- it's the second oldest radio series in the world (after the Grand Ole Opry). 500+ episodes online -- I've listened to about 40-50, including Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Mel Brooks, and even Field Marshall Montgomery (from 1969).
In Our Time -- BBC History roundtable discussion
BBC Podcasts
How Stuff Works
NPR Fresh Air
Old Time Radio Drama -- Sort of like very short audio books

You should look into Moshe Kasher in general. He's hilarious and ridiculously interesting. Orthodox Jew from NYC who came from a broken home (now THAT'S an outlier) and somehow grew up in the ghetto in Oakland.

Yeah I am familiar with him. One of my favorite younger comedians out there right now. Didn't know he did a Podcast, let alone one with Neal Brennan. Will probably listen to it on my commute home today.

Go back and find the 2nd time Moshe was on You Made It Weird. It's one of the greatest 2 hours every recorded.
