Very Cool! Thanks for sharing. My Dad served on its predecessor in WWII. They got kamikazied at Okinawa despite being a hospital ship and supported the invasion of the Philippines before that. They were there when the survivors of the Bataan Death March were brought out. That was probably 3-4 ships ago - the Navy keeps reusing the names of the Hospital ships.
