How long would you choose to live?
Posted on 7/8/15 at 6:44 pm to NeverRains
A day longer than my wife and kids, I guess.

Depends on how much money I had saved up to go absolutely insane with. At this point I would say 45-50.

So when people tell you "I hope you outlive your children" you see it as good wishes?

Scruffy already decided he isn't going to die.
The only reason people die is because they accept that death is an inevitability.
Scruffy doesn't.
Therefore, he will never die.

You hanging around mesothelioma patients or something? I swear the majority of 70 year olds I meet these days, if they took reasonable care of themselves, would run fricking circles around what my grandparents looked like at 70.
One of my neighbors is 74 I think and she gardens all day and rides horses almost every day too. My last landlord was over 70 and that dude was mowing lawns no problem and probably had better stamina than I did.

250. If the Singularity and/or other really cool shite hasn't happened by the early to mid 23rd century, I may as well throw in the towel.

Scruffy sounds like an only child.

This is what I'm thinking. Singularity or Jesus's return, either way I'm good with it.

I don't plan on taking that good care of myself
