Can we have a Religion Board?

What needs to happen to have a Religion Board on Tigerdroppings?
1. Just some examples of rules for the new board (feel free to share your thoughts on rules too): All religions are welcome: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, etc... Witnessing, debates, and questions are all welcome as long they are in a respectable manner.
2. Atheist, Agnostic, Theis, and Deist are also welcome to ask questions, share their thoughts/views, and concerns.
I have visited other college websites and have seen several religious boards. This would be a great way for us to spread the word of God or ask questions about our own faith or other people's faith that could be answered by fellow posters.
Let's make this happen. How do we petition for this?

I would enjoy it personally. I know they keep religion out of topics on the OT, but if there was a designated board I think it would be a great improvement.

I'm pro-religion board.
Not only for true faith discussions, but also the politics of religious groups in the US (not government politics), which will probably shift considerably in coming years. Potential schisms in denominations, stuff like that.

Other college websites have this. It is very doable. Trolls would not last long if they want to stay in the debates.

I used to like the religion ban here but it spills into politics and other issues. So, if it has it's own board maybe it would be good. Like poli no constant-admin needed. It could be a woe to all those who enter here thing and the abuse button could be utilized if someone gets way out of line.

I can understand answering questions, but what would be the point of debates? Are you trying to convince someone that their religion isn't the right religion? I just don't see how that would go over very well. Maybe I have the wrong idea but I still think it would become a troll fest.
