I don't know why they care and I don't know why some people feel so much pride in flying the flag of a bunch of losers. If you want to fly it or have it painted on your car then knock yourself out I guess but it just doesn't make much sense to me.

I've never owned one. Mom's side are all farmers in Mississippi and live in cabins in the woods, and they don't have a rebel flags. My dad's side is exactly what everyone pictures people from Alabama, and they don't have any rebel flags.
That said, people wanting it banned are nuts, and possibly horrible people.

I dont care if he wants to paint over it either, but this is obviously only to avoid PC criticism. And thats what's so annoying. For 150 years it wasnt considered offensive but now suddenly in 2015 everyone is soooo offended by it. Must be all the former slaves running around out there. Brings up such terrible memories for them.

Apparently its just now (within the last few weeks) considered offensive by Bubba Watson, the mainstream media, walmart, amazon, the list goes on...
A month ago none of them had a problem with it. Then some loser in South Carolina shoots up a church and now everyone realizes how racist they have been.

It's his car and he can really do whatever he wants with it. If he feels it's in his best interest to cover it with more flags or to paint it green and cover it with ruby rhinestones and bottle tops, more power to him. His opinions on the car are just as valid as yours. Except, again, he owns it.
