Oh wait, I found one that pisses me off: People who share pictures of missing kids with either no information about the child or the area where the kid is missing, or without actually clicking the link they shared which shows the kid was found safe 2 months ago.

FB has been absolutely GOLDEN the last week. The idiot redneck posts don't piss me off, I find them hilarious.
My old college roommates Dad has gone on some pretty epic rants the last week that have been just amazing.

This. All it takes is one comment or liked article for me to swiftly unfollow someone. Of the 600 or so "friends" I have on FB, I probably only "follow" about 20 of them by now.

My friend read me a draft of a long post he intended to post on FB. He expected some awesome positive reaction from me but the look I gave him was unmistakable. I told him posting that serves absolutely no purpose and will only piss people off. It will not convert a single person. He reluctantly deleted it without posting. I keep my FB politics free.

I started Facebook in the summer of 2005. It was great to keep up with friends who had just graduated high school. Had to have a college email still at that point though.

The best is people ranting on here and the TV about gay marriage being legal saying it is infringing on their rights. Like wtf. What rights are being affected? Your rights to prevent others from having equal rights?

Unfortunately, sometimes I research them to find out more info and they aren't. One of the "Share this if you care about finding me" was killed by her dad and found several days later; it happened over 2 years ago and he's in jail.
But all this rampant sharing of somewhat false alarms makes it almost like people crying wolf. You become calloused to it and are less likely to share the ones who really need help. Is looking at the link you're sharing too much to ask?
