There's a picture in this thread of him in a later episode.

Well I mean, how do you expect me to answer a question from an episode that hasn't been shown or a preview that hasn't had that in it? This isn't terminator
I mean, a bean bag gun would make sense anyway since the guy obviously likes to torture his victims before killing them. Shot gunning them at point blank range ain't his style

whats gonna be interesting is when the other cops question CF as to how he got that info about that house. We as viewers know it was Frank.
Also that room looked like it had a camera/router in it... to stream torture porn or regular porn or maybe a little of both if donations get high enough...
theres a lot of fricked up crazy shite bout to go down and anyone who has made it thru the first two would be foolish to drop the series now imo.

Fwiw... I found both episodes from S2 much better on the second viewing.

Unless those upcoming scenes are flashbacks. Man people really don't want CF to be dead and they didn't want Woodrugh to be gay. There may be some cognitive dissonance going on here.

I've basically been telling people this all day.

While I think the second season cannot hold a candle up to the first season's arse, I am not bailing on the second season....I have already conceded to the fact that the plot, the chemistry between characters, and the overall acting and allure is not what it was in the first season it still seems interesting and appealing enough for me to ride it out.

I've rewatched both episodes and I'm in now.
I don't think many people could just sit and watch the first two episodes one time and know what is going on.
These first two eps definitely needed more than one viewing.

Seeing VV throwing the glass against the wall in episode 1 and being visibly pissed off leads me to think that he knew nothing of Caspere being killed at the time. I can't recall if anyone was in the room with to where he would need to be acting as if he was unaware of Caspere;s demise?
CF is not dead for sure tho. Way too early to off a character of his caliber. Going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

Way way way way too much exposition again.
There's a difference between philosophical ramblings and such as exposition to subtly SHOW the character (Rust Cohle) and exposition as lazy writing to just tell the audience everything about the character (Frank in the "basement" monologue). If that info is really needed in a short time frame then it should be shown in a flashback. That allows us to experience it (keeping us engaged) and to gather our own conclusions

Shotgun was post mortem bruh.
More proof the naysayers need to watch again.
And the flashback people? How the frick can it be a flashback when there's pics of Farrell vested up with Kitsch and McAdams?
They've never worked together before and there hasn't been any kind of raid or anything...
He isn't dead.

Watched it again last night, and I had forgotten that Ani said 2 people committed suicide, 2 people in jail, out of the 5 that were kids growing up in the Good People place. Then her partner said a phone call went to the missing Mexican girl from Guernville (that's the town with Ani's dad's hippie institute). Definitely setting up for serious sex slave/trafficking shite. That ties into Ani's sex issues, and could put Caspere's perverted arse (and his shrink) right in the middle of it too.

I don't mind getting upset about a show, it's a good sign that the show has at some point vested your interest
But when it turns to "THIS IS frickING SO LAME AND CLICHE TERRIBLE OMGGGGG" after 2 minutes of airtime, it's just ridiculous
