I laid around watching the Simpsons this afternoon while my wife watched some real housewives reruns.
I'm 29. Favorite cartoon: south park

Are you trying to draw out and shame the Heckle & Jeckle fans?
No. My wife (55) and daughter (17) watch cartoons, and so do my daughter's female friends--I mean, children's cartoons.
I thought this was pretty strange, but a friend of mine said lots of adults watch cartoons, although he didn't say what kind, and probably meant adult cartoons like South Park.
I just wondered if there are significant numbers of adults who watch children's cartoons for entertainment. That was the purpose of my question; I should have framed it more precisely though.

Rick and Morty, Clarence, Regular show FTW!

Yep. Clarence is currently the best animated show on TV.

I occasionally watch the late night stuff on Adult Swim if I'm really baked. I'd still watch the original Looney Toons if I just happened across them. Other than that, no. I'm 36.

Yes, I have kids. I'm 35, and Tom and Jerry beats any current cartoon these days.

This one my 3 teens still enjoy. Most of the cartoons I watched growing up they do not like. I guess Tom getting used by Jerry never gets old. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Wow, I can't believe how many of you people watch cartoons for children. Grow up people!
You'll never see me watching such pre-adolescent fare. Instead, I watch the Three Stooges, a sophisticated satire about the dilemma of the working class in today's heartless capitalist world. The show's three adult protagonists are pitted against the most abusive, demeaning torments of the system—exploitation, class slavery and pie fights—in their struggle for dignity and a living wage.
The show's themes, acting and scriptwriting are of the highest caliber, rivaling the best of the BBC—yes, Benny Hill.
I suggest you leave the vapid world of children's entertainment for the rich, thought-provoking complexities of the Stooges.
Nyuck nyuck, nyuck.

Yep. I'm 27 and it's simply a medium that is best used for a fluid type of story and setting. I don't trust anyone who watches the Lion King and hates it.
