People are assuming that Wade will leave by his choice. I think there is quite a good possibility that the Heat don't want Wade back, at least, not at his price.

I think the heat running wade out of town would end any shot they have at durant. Which is why I think they'll cave and give wade his money.

All posturing for negotiations leverage. He'll be back in Miami.

I think for D-Wade, and the Heat its in both of there best interest he stays in Miami
Not at all. For them to be a player in any sort of capacity for luring a big FA in 2016 or 2017 they need to drop wade.

How much does D-wade bring to the table given him and Kobe are similar players at the SG position
Kobe for 41 games, Wade for 41 games.

Giving wade his money means they can't afford Durant.

If his price is $20M then no, the Heat do not want that because they will not be able to get a meeting with Durant in 2016 because Wade isn't signing a 1 year deal.
But in Wade's mind, he's seeing Dragic get a possible 5 year $80M deal and knows Whiteside will be seeking the max as soon as he's eligible.

Not true. Wade + Dragic + bosh would put them around 55, whiteside has a very small cap hold. It would be possible.

Durant isn't going to Miami. I would be shocked if Durant went anywhere that wasn't on this list.
OKC
Lakers
Washington
Houston

Whiteside is up after this season so they will have to pay him too.

Whiteside becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2016 and will seek the max. So no, it would not be possible.

Yea that's why I put the part about the cap hold. They won't be able to give whiteside a max deal then sign durant, would work the other way around.

I should have said the show melt because it will be funny.

That's the idea, still not sure they'd have enough money to do that though.
