Hanging storage for boots and waders.

If you are really concerned, hose em off when you finish the season, then hang in an indoor closet. They will last forever. If you hang outside or fold inside you will run into trouble quicker than inside hanging up.

Waders have holes long before dry rot. Looking for something so I can hang from the ankles in the garage. 3 sets of knees, one hipboots, and chest waders.

I have a pair of Lacrosse neoprene waders that I bought in 2003. I don't even remember the model but it was something like brush tuff. I spray them off let dry then roll down and put in an Avery wader bag in my garage. Never had a single problem with them.
Point is you really don't have to hang them.

Trying to see if I have enough room for the boat and my wife's vehicle. If I do I will have more wall space than floor space. Waders usually get moved to a spare closet once dry in the off season but during the season I leave them in the garage.

Hard to believe that most people on here bring their rubber or muck boots inside though.

My dad cut one out of wood with a jigsaw like this for the camp, sanded it down and mounted it like a shelf

In y'alls experience, how does the heat of a garage/attic effect them?

I made this today, which got me thinking I could make one for it, but I would need 1x8s at least , also saw some Google images of dowel rods was wondering if anyone had any preference over each opposed to "keep them inside"

I haven't seen any change in the life of waders or boots. When I kept them inside versus the garage or shed. It's not being exposed to direct sunlight just more extreme temperatures than 68-75 degrees. If the neoprene can't stand up to that my battery powered tools don't stand a chance.
