Is this still a thing? What has ALL THAT POWER translated into? Do PS4 FPS games have 128 players instead of 64 on Xbox One FPS? Do PS4 RPGs have bigger maps than Xbox One RPGs?

I buy all of my multiplats on the One because even though some aren't multiplayer, I like talking to friends while playing them

I suppose. Only thing I would bring up is that PCs are fluid. Up until recently, my PC was worse than my PS4. Those willing to build a nice rig will of course stick to PC for graphically intensive games most of the time.
For consoles, it's a bit different to compare and choose, imo.

It's not just graphics. It's resolution as well. More ps4 games run in native 1080p. 900p to 1080p is a huge difference to my eyes and 900p looks terrible blown up on a 50inch 1080p led.
Xbox One supposedly has a built in upscaler which may negate the resolution difference though.

I started buying all my multiplats for my xbone because
A. I like the xbone controller more

you can play your xbone games on your pc is all I'm aware of atm
and the more microsoft integrates the xbone into the pc ecosystem will mean only good things. plus I'm betting their next console will be even more capable of integrating into the pc ecosystem, which was another reason I committed to buying multiplats for the xbone.

The truth is that the ps4 multiply game look slightly better and I mean slightly. I hate when ps4 fans say the games look better if that's what you care about build a PC the ges will look significantly better than either console. I buy the game for the console that gets the exclusive content if a game doesn't have exclusive content on one of the consoles I buy it for PC.
