Non U.S. citizens who live here and bitch about the country

I have a friend who recently (less than 5 years ago) moved here from Europe. This is a work friend- so not someone I usually see outside of work. He constantly posts all over facebook about how terrible the U.S. is and how racist the South is and blah blah blah. Why even live here if you hate it that much? Anyone else baffled by this type of thing?

He's never said hates but he bitches about the healthcare system and how America does things "backwards" and how he encounters racism constantly throughout the South.

He has every right to bitch IMO. Sounds like does more for this country than some that just happened to be born here

Ask this a-hole how he feels about Turkish and Muslim guest workers in Germany. I bet it wont be all positive. I also bet he doesnt have a helluva lot of love for his former East German brethren either.

I've met people (mostly Russians) that live here, work for cash under the table while drawing welfare, food stamps and whatever else they can get, and they bitch about America and the government constantly.
