Now you are in here making claims that LeBron is the greatest player in the world? correct? Why isn't any team he's ever been on at least in top 15
Yikes.

I understand what they have accomplished, but I don't believe that they're a top 5 or 10 team either.

No sir, I was rebutting that GS is not top 12 all time team. I then checked the link the poster directed at me... and I didn't see a Lebron team in top 15.
So I ask the question? how is the greatest player to when he's never been on a team that's finished in the top 15 on the data the man posted?

Lebron shouldn't be getting a hard time at all. He's proven how good he is already this series. The Cavs without Kyrie and Love are a shell of a team. When Lebron steps off the floor for two minutes the wheels start to fall off and at a frightenly fast rate.
If Lebron were to hypothetically miss game 6 the Cavs may lose by 50. I want to say I'm exaggerating but GS goes on a run evry time he steps off. It's an incredible effort.

They haven't exactly passed the eye test in the most important 6 or 7 game stretch of the season, that's for sure.
In my opinion, the 2014 Spurs would have worked this Warriors team in a 7-game series. But the numbers would probably support Golden State as a "better team" historically.

If he is the greatest player in the world, and he is, then the only answer can be his teammates haven't quite been good enough to be all time good.

Well of course not. I didn't have a time machine.

But seriously, I picked the Spurs to win the series last year, so I wasn't too worried.

Right now, yes.
I think a fully Kevin Durant is a solid runner up

But I saw those teams win. And they were amazing. And they had fire and the heart of champions and wouldn't be denied.
That's all I really have

He didn't make any mistake. It's more stupidity. Very few people said that. He's changing the narrative to fit his troll arse agenda. He keeps talking about excuses and spouts a million of his own the second things aren't in his favor.
I couldn't care any less who wins the Finals, but this cat makes it hard to want anything but a Lebron win.

I find it very hard to believe that the greatest player to EVER play has never been on a team that has finished in the top 15...Also he's been in the league over 10 years and 3 different teams.
oh its the other players fault

I find it hilarious that a large portion of people fail to realize just how stacked the dynasty Celtics, Lakers, Pistons & Bulls teams from the late 70's through the 90's were. Those teams not only had stars who were starters but they also had really good players who came off the bench as well. Maybe those who claiming one player can do it alone, should look up the rosters of those squads. Even the Heat teams that Lebron played on lacked quality depth which showed in both the 2011 & 2014 NBA Finals. Free agency & the salary cap plays a large role in that but this 2014-15 GSW team currently has the type of depth many of those past teams had.

So Dan Marino is the GOAT?
So all we care about is stats now? A player can go out and play 48 minutes on a shite team and rack up a bunch of numbers and we call him the GOAT?
shite, maybe KD can go to the 76ers, make it to the playoffs a few times maybe and jack up 45 shots a game and average 42/12/8 a game and then he'll be the GOAT in 4-5 years

1980's
Lakers
Celtics
1991-93 bulls
96-98 bulls
2000-2003 Lakers
2000 era spurs
04-05 pistons
And this is just the champions.
I'd like to see them go up against the bad boys Detroit or the rough and tumble Ewing Knicks. The rockets with Hakeem or the trailblazers with kersey and drexler. The jazz with Malone and Stockton or the suns with Johnson and Barkley. Stats Dont mean shite if they did then the hawks would be playing GS.
